Hack the Waste Stream

Join the Innovation Center and Sustainable GW for a mini hackathon event! Learn about GW's approach to diverting waste from the landfill, and develop solutions to increase reuse of items, increase diversion of items like durable household goods, textiles, or electronics from the landfill, reduce contamination within recycling receptacles, or increase diversion of food waste. Over the course of the afternoon, teams will prepare to present their idea to a panel of judges. The top three teams will be rewarded with prizes!
