IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference
The 14th IEEE Global Humanitarian Technology Conference (IEEE GHTC 2024) is a flagship international conference sharing practical, technology-enabled solutions that address the needs of underserved communities in resource-constrained environments around the world. This cross-disciplinary annual conference provides the perfect opportunity for those interested in humanitarian projects to join their peers in October 2024 at Villanova University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA.
Individuals from academia, for-profit and non-profit businesses, and governmental and non-governmental organizations are encouraged to attend and present research, ideas, and other considerations for the creation of effective humanitarian technology. Participants are also invited to share case studies and lessons learned from the deployment and application of humanitarian technologies.
IEEE GHTC 2024 thematic areas are centered around the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Submissions should discuss work done to alleviate poverty, provide education and connectivity, and create equitable access to water, energy, and secure food sources with minimal impact on the planet and environment.
