Dr. Payman Dehghanian has received a $30,000 grant from Amazon Web Services for the project “Comprehensive Comparison Study of Synchronous vs. Induction Generators for Mission-Critical Stand-Alone Operations.” The project goal is to identify solutions to ensure the reliable and resilient operation of data centers at a minimum cost at all times. Dr. Dehghanian is the director of the GW SmartGrid Laboratory.
