OIE leader Jim Chung will be joined by Carleigh Berryman, NVC Finalist and CEO of Viva Vita, Dr. Ben Harvey, GW Research Professor and CEO of AI Squared, and Krishan Shah, NVC Winner and CFO of Early Intervention Systems.

Carleigh Berryman is the Founder and CEO of Viva Vita, a technology startup that brings virtual reality solutions to seniors for better mental wellness and quality of life. She is an accomplished entrepreneur, speaker, business strategist, and author. Carleigh developed Viva Vita while she was a student at GW, and was a GW NVC Finalist and Summer Startup Accelerator participant. She was named in the 2020 DC Inno 25 Under 25 and Viva Vita has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and Today Show.

Dr. Ben Harvey is the CEO and Founder of AI Squared, which raised $6M from NEA last year, and is an adjunct faculty member at the GW School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. AI Squared offers a browser extension that enables developers and other users to run neural networks in their browsers, edit code, and access the results of an AI model’s calculations. Dr. Harvey participated in the NSF I-Corps program and the GWOIE I+E Lab during the development of AI Squared.

Krishan Shah is a Co-Founder of Early Intervention Systems (EIS). He co-founded the company with 2 other GWU students in 2018 and went on to win the New Venture Competition that year. He graduated from the School of Business in the Class of 2020 with Concentrations in Finance and International Business. In his free time, Krishan likes to DJ, try new restaurants, and travel.
