Congratulations to Professor Can Korman on being selected as Associate Editor for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ (IEEE) Transactions on Magnetics Journal! This is the primary archival journal for the Magnetics Society of the IEEE. The Magnetics Society is dedicated to being the leading international organization for magnetism and related professionals and to promoting the advancement of science, technology, applications and training in magnetism.
The IEEE Transactions on Magnetics is a peer-reviewed, archival journal in science and technology related to the basic physics and engineering of magnetism, magnetic materials, applied magnetics, magnetic devices, and magnetic data storage. Alongside archival scholarly articles, the journal also publishes tutorial expositions and critical reviews of classical subjects and topics of current interest. As Associate Editor, Professor Korman will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Committee in the peer review and publication process of the IEEE Transactions on Magnetics.
Regarding his new position, Professor Korman stated, “I have been part of the magnetics community for over 30 years. Until recently, I served as the Chair of the IEEE Washington/NVA Magnetics Society Chapter and I am honored to continue serving the IEEE in this new capacity.”
