Congratulations to Professor Guru Prasadh Venkataramani on beginning his term as an associate editor on the IEEE Micro magazine Editorial Board!
IEEE Micro is a bimonthly publication of the IEEE Computer Society that addresses users and designers of microprocessors and microprocessor systems. Contributions to the publication relate to the design, performance, or application of microprocessors and microcomputers. For example, it runs several prestigious issues, such as IEEE Top Picks in Computer Architecture, every year.
IEEE Micro is one of the longest-running magazines within the broader computer community and just celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. Professor Venkataramani has been involved in the IEEE Micro community for over 15 years. He has previously been involved as a guest editor and author several times.
Regarding his new position, Professor Venkataramani stated, “Computer architecture is my home community, and serving the oldest journal/magazine in the community is wonderful for me.”
